Join us for the August Movement Incubator where Dannie and Hayleigh will explore the relationship between tension & release through a trauma-informed lens.
Building safety through movement can be as subtle as taking a breath, diverting our gaze, or letting go of a tensed muscle. We’ll play with some of these tools before shifting into a tremoring practice that will help us shake things out and set them down.

Dannie Horton is a bodyworker and group facilitator offering talk- and touch-based experiences in safe, intentional containers. Their group work focuses on consent, communication, and vulnerable somatic explorations.
Hayleigh Robertson is a seasoned movement instructor and licensed bodyworker who has been guiding clients toward deeper embodiment and healing since 2017. With a foundation in movement and somatic awareness, Hayleigh’s group classes are enriched by extensive training in trauma-informed yoga + nervous system regulation.
Abide West is located in the studio space located behind Willow Room in Lakewood. The address is 15801 Detroit Avenue. There is free parking behind the building off Brockley Ave, and there's a cute li'l Abide West sign above the correct door towards the back of the building.
You'll have to climb just a few steps to get into the building. You can leave your shoes in the hall. The space has a private bathroom, cold water for drinking, and hot water for making tea.

Cleveland Embodiment is reserving a portion of available tickets on a pay-what-you-can basis for this event. If you need a free or discounted ticket please send us an email or message us on Insta.
