Join us for October's Movement Incubator on 10/16 at 6pm! Ava Leben Wentzel Shively and Mary Zupan will offer Embodying the TriDosha | Utilizing marma therapy, yogasana, and sound to simplify our elaborate humanness and remember what we’re really made of.
In a world where stillness is sacred and excessive activity abounds—drying our tissues and hypermobilizing our nervous systems and singeing our synapses and weighing down our heart—Ayurveda offers us simple medicine by giving us the language to recognize who we are, how we feel, and what we can offer ourselves to recalibrate when necessary.
The TriDosha (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) archetypes help us contextualize our experiences and come back home to ourselves when we’re lost.
And what is even more beautiful is the fact that this information is infinitely accessible as it is already within you; this movement incubator is simply a means to remember it together in community.

Ava Leben Wentzel Shively is an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and Licensed Bodyworker. Her work supports everyday people looking for guidance in navigating physical discomfort, digestive imbalances, hypermobile nervous systems, and intricately layered experiences that elude modern medical diagnostics. Through her 1:1 sessions, community events, and creative writing, she holds space for deeper modes of exploration that bring us closer to recovering our autonomy and our authenticity. Ava practices out of the Willow Room Collective in Lakewood, Ohio.
Mary Zupan is a Licensed Professional Music Therapist and Certified Sound Healer based in the Cleveland area. She has been singing and playing instruments since childhood and has always felt a deep passion for helping others authentically connect through music and sound. As a music therapist, Mary has provided both community-based and individual music therapy services, working with people of all ages and across a wide range of neurodiversity. Through her sound healing work, Mary has supported individuals in finding relaxation, comfort, and a sense of community. Mary strives to create a compassionate, and healing environment where people feel safe to explore, grow, and connect.
Ava and Mary have been friends for over 20 years and have so much fun playing with the community and facilitating events that engender softening and recalibration.
