This two hour workshop will support the development of trust in the adaptability of our bodies, minds, and spirits. In the face of disabling systemic conditions, service gaps in our communities, and growing societal ableism, this workshop helps us get curious about the ways our bodies and minds may change in the future. We will practice skills identifying our needs and making requests, new ways of weight shifting/sharing, exploring the senses, and more. Overall, this workshop uses a series of voluntary individual and partnered exercises designed to increase our capacity for curiosity and care, and to show gratitude for our bodies and minds—as they are now, and for all the ways they may change.
