❝ It all connected really well for me personally, both the soundscape from the speaker & the actual sounds & instruments. I loved the way it made the room feel like it was swelling with energy. thank you! ❞

About

Babs

Babs' current offerings at Cleveland Embodiment include holding open, whimsical, soothing, and trauma-informed sharing spaces at Heart Circle, Cuddle Puddle, and other community events.

In addition to group offerings at the collective, Babs has helped clients navigate and negotiate safe touch through her work offering therapeutic cuddle since 2021. She has found ways since her childhood to hold space for others of all needs and backgrounds to encourage unique exploration of the self. She intends to spark passionate self-expression, as she believes this is necessary for growth and true comfort in this human body, in this human world. She is currently using this intention to provide 1:1 trauma-informed therapeutic care to children on the autism spectrum in order to facilitate play, self-advocacy, and coping mechanisms to help balance sensory input levels. She uses deep pressure touch (DPT), light language, and chakra frequency healing in her 1:1 sessions.

Babs has been working with Cleveland Embodiment Collective since its founding to provide eccentric community offerings here in Cleveland. Music is woven into the tapestry of all of Babs' work. Not only does she use chakra frequency healing in her 1:1 sessions, but she will use a mix of modalities during community events, such as singing, droning with a shruti box or harmonium, playing singing bowls, orchestrating playlists, etc. Silence is always supported as well. Babs' work is designed is to bring our needs that tend to hide into our view; she desires to shine light on parts of ourselves that we don't fully understand so that we may fully love and honor them, ourselves, and the now.
